Obituary For: Gail Pike Neumann
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at the Highland Cemetery for Gail Pike Neumann, 63, Junction City. A visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2008, from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel. Gail passed away Saturday, February 2, 2006, at the Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society Heartland Division 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue Kansas City, Missouri 64105.
Gail was born June 4, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Walter Cook and Rae (Plenderleith) Pike.
Gail was a homemaker and a loving mother. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She lived life to the fullest. We love you mom, you will be greatly missed!
She is survived by one son, Walter E. Griffith and his wife Lisa of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; four daughters, Nancy A. Christian of Junction City, Kansas, Angela M. McGee and Raymond Burgess of Junction City, Kansas, Peggy S. Coleman and her husband John of Lansing, Michigan and Rebecca L. Ramos of Junction City, Kansas. She is also survived by two brothers, Bill Pike of Caldwell, Idaho and Richard Pike of Phoenix, New York, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, her loving significant other Charles Kendig of Junction City, Kansas and Howard L. Callen the step father of her loving children who resides in Aransas Pass, Texas.
