Fumilo "Ponie" Jefferies died Friday, August 8, 2005 at the Geary Community Health Center. She was 81 years old.
Cremation is planned, with inurnment of a portion of the remains at the Fort Riley Cemetery. Other remains will be inurned in Japan.
