Frank A. Kubiak, 83, of Alta Vista, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Valley View Senior Life. Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment services will be held at the Welcome Cemetery .Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Judes Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or to the Hospice at Geary Community Hospital c/o Geary Community Healthcare Foundation PO Box 3015.
Frank was born December 29, 1931, in Wilkes Barr, PA the son of Stanley and Catherine Mazurkiewiz Kubiak.
Frank served in the United States Army, He retired as a SSG in 1969. After his retirement he worked as a mechanic having worked for various filling stations in the Junction City Community. He also drove a school bus and worked at Fort Riley. He belonged to the VFW.
He married Emma Mack February 1, 1958 in Germany. She survives of the home.
He is survived by two sisters, Josephine Bielicki and Betty Staffa. He is also survived by his grandson James Hoelscher who resides in Hooper Bay, AK. and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son James Kubiak who passed away in 1975.
