Mass of Christian Burial for Francis Patrick "Pat" McGuire, 77, Livermore, CA will be Thursday June 8, 2006 at10:00am at St. Xavier's Catholic Church with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Odgen, KS. Visitation will be from 8:00am-9:45am Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association and sent in care of Johnson Funeral Chapel , PO Box 826, Junction City, KS, 66441.

Pat passed away June 3, 2006 at Valley Care Hospital in Pleasanton, CA. He was born June 14, 1928 in Fort Riley, KS the son of Martin J. and Vurley V. (Wood) McGuire.He graduated from St. Xavier's High School in 1947. He was a retired warehouse superintendent for Hunt Foods. He served his country with honors in the US Air Force. Beloved husband of Martha McGuire for 41 years, she survives. Other survivors include daughters , Marta Perta, Junction City and Jane McIntrye, Herington, KS; son Lester C. Lee of Georgia, sister Margaret Deppish; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Dennis L. McGuire, Loretta E. Bryne, Helen R. Gadon, Mary M. Gillan, Vurley V. McCallister, Marcella M. Schragg and Thomas M. McGuire, Martin J. McGuire, Jr. and two others in infancy.



Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and family.



Musicians will be Anita Hernandez, organist and vocalist, Joan Keating.
