Graveside Services will be held for Francis Paul Johnson, 60, of Minneola, KS, at 2:00PM, Friday, May 11, 2007 at Skiddy Cemetery, rural White City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover, KS.
Mr. Johnson was born December 1, 1946, in Parsons, KS, the son and George and Pauline Mary (Shields) Johnson. He attended schools in Augusta, KS and graduated from Augusta High School. Mr. Johnson served in the Air Force and was in Viet Nam from 1965 - 1968. He married Jacquelyn (Harden) Held on July 2, 1993 in Wichita, KS. She survives of the home.
Mr. Johnson had previously worked in Junction City with his father at Johnson's Sheet Metal and Plumbing. At the time of his death, he was working as a Sheet Metal and Plumbing Supervisor for Glassman of Hays, KS. He was a member of theJunction City Masonic Lodge, a member of the Shrine and also a member of the Minneola United Methodist Church.
