Frances M. Sjoholm

Graveside services for Frances M. Sjoholm, 93, of Junction City will be10:00am Friday, October 7, 2005 at Highland Cemetery with Father Dale Plummer officiating. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30pm Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Mrs. Sjoholm passed away Sunday, October 2, 2005 at The Chapman Valley Manor Nursing Home in Chapman, Ks. Memorial contributions may be made to The United Way of Junction City and Geary County, 332 West 7th, Junction City, KS 66441.

Mrs. Sjoholm was born January 12, 1912, at Walnut, KS the daughter of Armanda and Lena (Braun) Citti. She was a graduate of Chanute High School.

She lived most of her life in Junction City and was the former owner of Sjoholm Furniture.

She was married to Ralph V. Sjoholm in Yates Center, KS on September 21, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1970. She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald D. Sjoholm, three sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue Sjoholm, of Junction City, KS, three grandchildren, Pam Scott of Topeka, KS, Marc Sjoholm and wife Terri of Madison, AL, Susan Kamm and husband Bobby of Junction City, KS, and seven great- grandchildren, Colby, Kelsey and Kori Kamm, Jamie and Jenna Sjoholm, and Spenser and Katie Scott.
