Frances E. (McGraw) Fye, 80, of Leonardville, KS passed away June 8, 2005 at the Leonardville Nursing Home.
Mrs. Fye was born September 13, 1924, Oquawka, IL to Clifford E. and Bertha (Baxter) McGraw. She married Samuel F. Fye on November 8, 1947. She was a housewife and homemaker. Mrs. Fye enjoyed reading, cooking, working in puzzle books and having family gatherings.
She is survived by her husband Samuel of Kansas, nine children, Clifford Fye, Virgil Fye, Paul Fye and Truman Fye all of Kansas, Carl Fye and Kenneth both of IL, Everett Fye of IA, Carol Wicks of OK and Vallie Mohnike of IL, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three brothers, Bill McGraw and Bob McGraw both of IL and and Lee McGraw of IA, two sisters Pauline Woods and Erma Nixon both of IL.
She was preceded in death by three children, her parents, one grandson and one daughter-in-law.
Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory Johnson Chapel assisted the family with cremation arrangements, no services will be held.
