Floyd Johnston

Floyd E. Johnston, 89 of Junction City, KS. passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 13, 2003. Services will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Friday, May 16, 2003, 10:00 a.m. with the burial at Highland Cemetery. Pastor Rick Marrs will officiate.
He will lie In State after 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2003 at Johnson
Funeral Chapel with a visitation from 6-8:00 p.m.

He was born January 27, 1914in Geary County the son of John and Sarah Warner Johnston. He attended Reynolds School on Humboldt Creek.
He Married to Sarah Shane on October 9, 1940. She preceded him in death on July 28, 2000.

Floyd was a life long farmer/rancher who was a soft spoken and a gentleman with a good sense of humor. He loved his horses, farm and also fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a Daughter, Sheryl L. Bennett of Junction City, KS.; Son, Kenneth E. Johnston and wife Roxanna of Junction City, KS.; Three Sisters, Sarah Furrow of Oklahoma, Grace Harris of Junction City, and Doris Brumm of Skiddy. Four Grandchildren, Brian Johnston and Dennis Allen of Junction City, Melissa Burgess of Manhattan, and Shelli Johnston of Topeka.

Preceded In Death By Two Brothers, Lester Johnston of Junction City, Howard Johnston of Utah; Three Sisters, Beulah Hohman of Junction City, Georgetta Brazzle of Wamego and Viola Gustafson of Topeka.

Casket bearers will be Brian Johnston, Dennis Allen, Jason Burgess, Stanley Pearson, Wayne Pearson, Jay Nuzum

Organist will be Lesa Wunder and the Vocalist will be Stuart Workman
