Florence J. Sheppard, 91, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on December 22, 2016 at Valley View Senior Life Center. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service of Junction City, Kansas is assisting the family with cremation arrangements. A Memorial Service will be held at Valley View Senior Life Center, 1417 W. Ash St., Junction City, KS, 66441, on January 6, 2017 at 11:00am.
She was born on February 7, 1925, Winona, Missouri. On November 19, 1945 she married Carl Sheppard. She and Carl lived in Branson, Missouri, and were blessed with 6 children. After the passing of her beloved husband, Florence continued to live in Branson. Her heart stayed there when she moved to live with her daughter, Yvonne, in Junction City, Kansas.
Florence is survived her Two Daughters, Yvonne (Ralph) McBride of Milford, KS, and Evelyn Bonham of Aurora, CO; Two Sons, David (Linda) Sheppard of St. Peters, MO, Don (Sarah) Sheppard of Branson, MO; Seven Grandchildren; Ten great grandchildren; and Close Family Friend Terry Sanders and his family of Branson, MO.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Carl W. Sheppard, and two Sons, Paul Sheppard and Mark Sheppard.
