Highland, Kansas, Saturday, February 8, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. for Fannie C. Lewis, 88,of Junction City, KS, formerly of Highland, KS. Fannie died January 9, 2003 at Valley View Professional Care Center. No visitation is planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, Kansas 66601-9865. Fannie was born September 11, 1914, Sparks, Kansas to Leslie B. and Bessie C. (Thompson) Higgins. Fannie married John J. Lewis January 11, 1933 at St. Joseph, MO;he preceded her in death April 15, 1998. She was a beautician, the owner of Style Rite Beauty Shop in
Highland, KS for 20 years. She moved to Manhattan, KS in 1979 and then to Junction City,KS in 1992. Eastern Star, Highland Christian Church.
Survivors: Two Daughters: Roberta Pearson of Junction City, KS, and Loretta Koelliker of St. Joseph, MO, Eight Grandchildren and Nine Great-Grandchildren, One Brother; Murl Higgins of Highland, KS. Preceded In Death By: Parents, One Son; Terry and One Brother; Evin Higgins of Severance, KS
