Ethel Lucille Bachand

In memory of Ethel Lucille Bachand who left her beloved family on April 6, 2009. She passed away of natural causes at the age of 82. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at a later date.
She was born September 8, 1927 in Jamestown, KS to Arthur and Elise (Laughry) Marcotte. She married George Bachand on Oct. 21, 1946. Together they had three sons Ricky Lynn, Robert Lee, Carl Albert and daughter Mary Ann.
She worked at the JC Cafe, Spic & Span Restaurant and later became a homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, old westerns and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Carl (MaryLiz) Bachand of Junction City, KS, daughter Mary Ann (Gary) Boyer of Boonevill IN,one brother Alfred Marcotte (Maxine) of Morganville, KS, grandchildren Spencer Bachand of Junction City, Cody Bayer (IN), Jennifer (Steve) Halverson, Chip (Jackie) Bachand of Pasadena, TX, great grandchildren Robert Lee III, Jayclen and Jewell Bachand, and daughter in law Debbie Bachand all of Pasadena, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, two sons Ricky and Robert, one brother John Marcotte and one granddaughter Robin L. Bachand.

Memorial services will be held at St. Xavier's Catholic Church at 3:00 pm, Wednesday April 8, 2009 with Father Al Brungardt officiating.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials may be made to St. Xavier Catholic Church or Muscular Dystrophy Association in care of Carl A. Bachand.

Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
