Funeral Services for Esther H. Leonard, 77, Junction City, Ks will be 10:30AM, Thursday, October 26, 2006 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Jim Mayes and Deacon Chris Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Leonard passed Away October 20, 2006 at her home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.,Wednesday, October, 25, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS 66441. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 5805 Clark's Creek Rd., Junction City, KS, 66441, Baxter School Museum, White City, KS 66872 and/or Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research.

Mrs. Leonard was born December 6, 1928 in White City, KS the daughter of Arnold and Hilda (Gruber) Kickhaefer. She attended Baxter Elementary School and and St. John's Parochial School. She was a homemaker and a farmer.

She married Lawrence Leonard June 1, 1952 at St. Johns's Lutheran Church in White City. KS he preceded her in death in August 1994.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy H. Leonard of Junction City, sisters, Fern Weber and Lillie Vahsholtz both of Herington, KS, brothers Harvey Kickhaefer and Roy Kickhaefer both of White City, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents

Pallbearers will be Gary Neuschaefer, Dennis Vahsholtz, Roy Darrin Kickhaefer, Evan Leonard, Craig Worrell and Steve Carr.

Organist will be Florence Whitebread and Vocalist will be Sandy Wong
