Esther Anderson has departed this meager existence on earth having lived a rich, full and colorful life. Her years have left resounding echoes of laughter, stability and realness.
Esther was born in Roswell New Mexico to Marie Bosman and Jimmie Reese, both of whom preceded her in death. Esther was a "learner", seeming to always find a class or course to enroll in attempting to enrich her personal knowledge as well as better her ability to help others. In her learning, Esther became knowledgeable in the technical field of electronics that she used to create a wonderful career with the Xerox Cooperation. Esther spent twenty four proud years with this company retiring as an inspector. Esther was a member of the "Eastern Stars Daughters of Isis" Egyptian Temple #5 of which she was honored with the distinction of being its Queen for one year.
Esther will no doubt be remembered for her smile, willingness to help, and her hobbies, sewing, reading and cooking. Her last several years she provided the thought and taught a lesson of fighting adversity as she fought her illness with a strength that is not usually known. Those who have known these things will remember and cherish them as this existence for us continues.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Bosman and Jimmie Reese, six brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish the memory of her life are:
Her children Larry J. Jackson of Fayetteville N.C.; Cynthia McCray (Samuel) of Duncanville TX.; and Troy L. Jones of La Quinta, Ca. Siblings, Phil A. Reese, Sr. of New Bern, N.C.; Rosie R. Moore of Junction City Ks., Dorothy Levy of Daily City, Cal., and Opal Clark (Jim) of Sacramento, Cal. She leaves four grand children and four great grand children and a host of nieces and nephews.
