Erika A. Stanley

Erika A. Stanley, 97, of Olathe, Kansas formerly of Milford, Kansas passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Aberdeen Village in Olathe, Kansas surrounded by her loving family.

Erika was born November 16, 1926, in Lumberg, Poland, the daughter of Jakob and Margaret Bauer.

Erika owned and operated Stanley's Cafe in Milford, Kansas for many years. She enjoyed cooking and going to the casino. Erika mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Spending time with her grandson and great-grandsons was important to her. Erika was proud of her German heritage.

On February 9, 1954, she married Darrel L. Stanley. He passed away August 6, 2006.

Survivors include one daughter, Dolores W. Pascarelli and her husband Kenneth of Lenexa, Kansas; one brother, Arthur Bauer of Germany; one sister, Zita Winnzinger of Canada; one grandson, Eric Pascarelli and wife Tami of Gardner, Kansas; two great-grandsons, Cody and Nathan Pascarelli of Gardner, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Darrel and one sister Wanda Thoma.

A visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Fort Riley Post Cemetery. A funeral procession to the cemetery will leave Johnson Funeral Home following the visitation at 11 a.m.
