Encarnacion Mayo Dela Cruz

Encarnacion Mayo Dela Cruz, 88, of Junction City, died Saturday, May 4, 2019 at her home in Junction City. Encarnacion was born April 22, 1931 in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines the daughter of Emiliano and Feliciana (Padlan) Mayo.

Encarnacion grew and attended school in the Philippines. She was a homemaker.

She moved to Junction City in 1990 with her husband, Ramon. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church.

Encarnacion married Ramon P. Dela Cruz in 1947 in San Carlos City, Philippines. Ramon died November 6, 2009.

Survivors include: 5 sons, Bernardo Dela Cruz and his wife Belia, San Diego, Calif., Rogelio Dela Cruz and his wife Lene, Junction City, Fernando Dela Cruz and his wife Aurelia, San Carlos City, Philippines, Rey Dela Cruz and his wife Ruth, Junction City, and Zaldy Dela Cruz and his wife Lea, Junction City; 3 daughters, Maria Padilla and her husband Andy, Junction City, Arsenia DeLeon and her husband Leonardo, Philippines, and Adela Dela Torre and her husband Willie, Junction City; her grandchildren Vaughn (Maia), Velynda (Steven), Vernier De Guzman, Arnold, Lorna, Lotlot, Albert, and Lenlen De Leon, Vernaliza (Kylan), Brian, Kevin, and Charlene Dela Cruz, Fernando Jr., Hazel, and Alvin Dela Cruz, Mary Ann (Cyjay), Kathleen, Kelly Ann, Kenneth Dela Cruz, Julie Ann (Kevin), Juanito Jr. (Haley) Veniegas, Shantee, Shawna, Shiria Dela Torre, Jaylan Kyle, Alyssa Marie, Ariana Maris Padilla, Enrico, Zyrel, Lezyl Dela Cruz, Ryan Macrae, and Raeanne Mauve Dela Cruz; and 24 great grandchildren. She preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter, Virginia DeGuzman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. Xavier Catholic Church, with Fr. Kyle Berens presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m-8:00 pm. on Friday evening, May 10, at Johnson Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.
