Graveside services for Elizabeth Beck, 83, of Junction City will be 10:00 a.m.,Monday, April 26, 2010 at Fort Riley Cemetery with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 25 from 6-8 pm at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Ave. with a vigil service at 7:30pm. Mrs. Beck passed away at her home on April 20th. Memorial Contributions may be made to an organization of the donors choice in Elizabeth's name.
Elizabeth was born November 11, 1926 in Geisenfeld, Germany to
Lorenz and Katarina (Meier) Lachermeier. She later married Wills H. Beck on October 21, 1955 in Germany. He preceded her in death on June 28,1990.
Elizabeth is survived by two sisters Berta Scardina of Batonrouge, LA. and Anna Matmer of Munich, Germany. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was a homemaker.
