Elfriede Pauline Anders, 81, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Geary Community Hospital. Cremation will take place. No memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be given to Friends of Animals of Junction City, KS.
Elfriede was born October 20, 1939, in Kleinlangheim, Germany the daughter of Georg and Anna (Schmidt) Will.
Elfriede moved to the United States in 1963. She worked at Foot Locker in Junction City for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She enjoyed following the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. Elfriede enjoyed the Kansas State University Wildcats.
Survivors include two sons, David Anders of Oklahoma City, OK and Donald Anders and his wife Debora of Casa Grande, AZ; one daughter, Susan Rikoric and her husband Roy of Junction City, KS; five grandchildren, Tommy Lobdell, Ashley Nesseth, Amber Rikoric, Heather Rikoric and Katelynn Anders; three great-grandchildren, Josephine Lobdell, Lilly Nesseth and Jack Lobdell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Shirley Lobdell.
