Eileen M. Martino, 93, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
Eileen was born March 3, 1931, the daughter of Walter and Mamie (King) Heldstab.
Eileen was a lifetime resident of Junction City, Kansas. She was a phone operator and worked for the phone company for many years.
On November 10, 1950, she married her high school sweetheart and life time resident Frank Martino. They celebrated seventy years of marriage. They knew one another for five years before they were married.
Eileen and her husband Frank owned and operated a carpet cleaning and janitorial service in Junction City for many years. She was a fifty year member of the Spring Valley Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include one son, Doug Martino of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Brenda Hall of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Seth (Sarah) Hall, Kristin (Justin) Fish, Travis (Tabitha) Hall and Brandon (Danie) Martino; eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank and one son, Mike Martino.
