Edward Eugene "Ed" Jones passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at Geary Community Hospital. Ed has been cremated. A visitation to celebrate his life will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Johnson Funeral Home.

He was born in Junction City, KS on November 23, 1966, the son of Paul and Shannon. He attended school in Junction City, before graduating from Redlands High School in Redlands, CA in 1985.

After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, later receiving a medical discharge. He lived in Florida, Tennessee and Maine before returning to Junction City in 2014. He worked in various occupations, retiring in 2020.

Ed liked being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He loved his pets; two cats, and two dogs that he and his fiancé, Tammy, often took out to the lake to play.

He is survived by his children, Anthony Jones and Emilee Jones, father, Paul Jones, mother Shannon LaMunyon and her husband Dennis , fiancé, Tammy White, sister, Cindy (Bill) Ahlers, uncle and aunts Mel and Barbara Wagner and Dixie Goble, granddaughter, Abby, niece and nephew, Ariana and Chase Ahlers as well as a host of other family and friends.

He was a member of the Eagles. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donors choosing.
