Ednah Mae Roeser, 89, of Junction City, died June 13, 2019 at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City. Ednah was born July 15, 1929 in Topeka, the daughter of Chauncey and Carrie (Arnold) Starr.

Ednah was raised in Junction City and attended Junction City Schools.

Ednah was a member of the First Christian Church in Junction City, and was very active with the Women's Circle of the church. She was also a very active member of E.H.U. of Geary County.

She married Martin Roeser on December 12, 1948 in Topeka. Martin died April 24, 1993.

Survivors include: 3 sons, Clifford Roeser and his wife Julie, Mark Roeser and his wife Peggy, and Richard Roeser and his wife Karen, all of Junction City; a daughter, Linda D. Barten and her husband Loren, Chapman; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Starr, Orlando, Florida; 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Martin, and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the First Christian Church, 1429 St. Marys Rd., Junction City, with Pastor Ronnie Roberts presiding. Following a lunch at the church, a private family committal service and burial will be at Humboldt Creek Cemetery, Junction City.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given in Ednah's name to the First Christian Church.
