Services for Edith Lucille Kornelsen, 95 of Junction City, KS, formerly of Inman, Kansas will be Church of Our Savior United Methodist, Friday,March 22, 2002,at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Pastor John Cannon will officiate. Edith died March 20, 2002 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2002, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral
Chapel. Burial will be at the Zoar Mennonite Cemetery, Inman, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greensburg Mennonite Church, 310 W.Pennsylvania, Greensburg, KS 67054.She was born April 27, 1906, Pawnee Rock, KS to John T.and Eva (Base)Unruh. She married Jake S. Kornelsen, January 1, 1932, he preceded her in death February 28, 1966. Edith graduated from Zoar Academy & Bible School, Inman,KS. After Edith and Jake married they lived on a farm 1 ½ miles west of Inman for over 34 years. Edith was a housewife and a member of the Greensburg Mennonite Church and the Sewing Circle. Survivors include One Son; Vern Kornelsen of Englewood, CO, Two Daughters; Eunice Polgreen(Richard) of Junction City, KS and Kay Kornelsen of Titusville, FL, One Brother; Alvin Unruh of Yakima, WA, One Sister; Pauline Unruh of Greensburg, KS and One grandchild. She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Daughter; Nora May Kornelsen and brothers and sisters. Organist will be Florence Whitebread.
