Dr. Joe Belardo officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, Oct ober 24, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline, Junction City, KS Earl passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2006, at the Geary Community Hospital. He was born February 8, 1940, in Gloversville, New York the son of Earl D. and Margaret Loucks Savage, Sr.
Earl served in the United States Army twenty three 1/2 years having retired in 1982. He served in Korea, Germany, and the Vietnam Conflict and received numerous medals. He later worked in the Commissary at Fort Riley and was currently working for FSIG at Fort Riley He graduated from High School in 1959 in Northville Central School in Northville, New York. He was an avid basketball player for many years. Member of American Legion Post # 45.
He was a member of First Christian Church in Junction City, Kansas.
He married Judy Chong,October 31,1978 in Hawaii , She survives at the home
He is also survived by three sons Mike Savage and Mark Savage both of Junction City, Kansas, and Markis Savage of Miami, FL. He is also survived by a daughter Melissa. . He is survived by his two sisters Mary Smrtic of Johnstown, New York and Pamela Martin of Mayfield, New York.
Earl was preceded in death by this parents and two brothers.
