Dorothy M. Turner, 70, of Junction City passed away, September 14, at Geary Community Hospital Emergency Room. Services will be Wednesday, September 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Deliverance. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the Church of Deliverance. Services will also be held Friday, Sept. 19, 9:00 a.m. at the Transformation Church in St. Louis, MO. Burial will be at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Memorial contributions may be given to the Church of Deliverance, 1524 N. Jefferson, Junction City, KS 66441
Dorothy was born Feb. 6, 1933 at Tupelo, MS to Jack and Mary Francis(Parplow) Clark. She married Louis Henry Turner in 1948 at Tupelo, MS, he preceded her in death March 21, 1976. She had been a resident of Junction City for the past 10 years, prior to that she resided in St. Louis, MO. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Deliverance where she served on the Mother's Board.
She is survived by her Mother: Francis Clark Verona of MS, Two Sons; Jimmy Turner of Junction City, Andy Turner of St. Louis, Four Daughters; Linda Henderson, Rose Tabron, Debbie Turner and Doris Turner all of St. Louis, Four Brothers; Cleveland Clark, Will Clark, Eddie Lee Clark and Willie Clark, Five Sisters; Mary Ann Henze, Willie Doll Jarrette, Jean Walton, Elizabeth Williams and Stella Louise Clark, Twenty Six Grandchildren, Twenty-Six Great-Grandchildren, and Three Great-Great Grandchildren.
