Dorothy P. Wyss

Graveside inurnment services for Dorothy P. Wyss, 93, of Junction City, KS will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Highland Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at the Episcopal Church of the Covenant at 1 p.m. with Father Dale Plummer. Mrs. Wyss passed away on May 10, 2005 at Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be given to The Episcopal Church of the Covenant Permanent Endowment Fund, 314 N. Adams, Junction City, KS 66441.

Mrs. Wyss was born September 4, 1911, Rural Wakefield, KS, the daughter of Horace B. and Lena E. (Ogle) Ruscoe. She graduated from Wakefield High School and attended Kansas State University.

On October 10, 1935 she married Elba F. Wyss at Ponca City, OK. They settled in Junction City where they lived their entire life. He preceded her in death February 9, 1990. She had been a member of the Episcopal Church of the Covenant since 1936.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Amy Hillman of Manhattan, KS, son-in-law, Mikel Barry of Manhattan, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sondra Dell Barry, May 2, 2001, one brother, Cecil T. Roscoe and one sister, Jean Marie Hess.
