Dorothy E. "Dordy" Mathis, 94, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on April 12, 2018.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 805 Caroline Ave., Junction City, KS immediately followed by a Memorial Service. Inurnment at Highland Cemetery in Junction City will be held at a later date.

She was born on December 2, 1923, Ola, Arkansas to Fay and Glenie (Lewis) Allen. Dordy was married to Palmer "PH" Mathis for 58 years and she has lived in Junction City since 1955.
Dordy was lovingly known for cooking and making pies for her family. She was a member of Church of Christ in Junction City. Dordy worked as a Dental Assistant to Dr. George Grammer for many years.
Dordy is survived by her Son, James (Jane) Mathis of Manhattan, KS; Sister, Kathleen Dugger of Junction City, KS; 5 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Fay & Glenie Allen; Husband, Palmer Mathis; Son, Jerry D. Mathis; two Sisters, Gene Harris and Linda Gauntt; and her Great-Granddaughter, Katie Mathis.
Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, of Junction City, is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
