A funeral service for Dorothy F. Cole 87, of Junction City will be Friday September 4, 2009 at 11 am at Penwell-Gabel Mass Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Ave, Junction City, KS with Rev. Redo Purnell officiating. Burial with follow at Highland Cemetery. Respect calls for Mrs. Cole may be made Thursday from 6-8 pm at Penwell-Gabel Mass Hinitt Chapel. Mrs. Cole passed away August 30 at Valley View Senior Center. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Cole was born August 16, 1922 in Concordia, KS to Frank & Lucy (Lereux) Barker. She married Emery Cole November 2, 1939. He preceded her in death January 25, 2001. She was a sales clerk for Wins Retail Liqouir Store for 28 years.
She is survived by her nephew John Cole. She is preceded in death by her brother Merril Barker and her parents.
