Doris E. Peppers, 73, of Milford, KS, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at her home in Milford, KS. Cremation will take place. No memorial service is planned.
Doris was born October 27, 1947, in Atlanta, GA the daughter of Herbert and Doris (Buckner) Henderson.
Doris worked as an LPN helping geriatric patients in Georgia for many years. After her retirement, she moved to Kansas to live with her family.
In 1967, she married Melvin Peppers. He passed away in 2007.
Survivors include one son, Chris Peppers of Milner, GA; two daughters, Tina Maddox of Milner, GA and Rosa Chappell of Milford, KS; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Benny Henderson, Wesley Henderson and David Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Patricia Henderson and one brother, Herbert Henderson.
