Doris Braly

Graveside services for Doris J. (Pat) Braly, 83, Junction City, KS will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Fort Riley Post Cemetery with Father Al Brungardt Officiating. Mrs. Braly passed away October 6, 2009 at Golden Living Center, Wakefield, KS. The family will receive friends and relatives from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue, Junction City, KS with a rosary to be recited at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St.Xavier Catholic Church, P.O. Box 399, Junction City, KS 66441. Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.

Doris (Pat) was born on July 8, 1926 in Salina, KS to the late Harry J. an Laverne Kirby, the oldest of two daughters. She was preceded in death by her younger sister Frances May. She was a graduate of Minneapolis, KS High School in 1942.

Mrs. Braly worked and managed Sno-White Cleaners for 22 years before retiring in 1992. She married Robert Braly on December 2, 1950 in Wrightstown, NJ. They were married for 44 years. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a son Robert D. on November 18, 1986.

Survivors include three sons James M. of Springhill, KS; Richard D. and wife Margo of Wamego, KS and Andrew of the home; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
