Dorinda was born on August 14, 1956, in Junction City, Kansas, to Albert and June (Moyer) Snell. She had a very full and happy life. She was a former member and past president of the LYONS Club, a parishioner of St. Xavier Catholic Church, and a parishioner Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Dorinda had many interests and hobbies. She recently found a passion canning food that she would distribute to her friends and family. She loved to travel, fish, read, knit, sew, and gardening. She has always had a deep fondness for Kansas history and would share many facts to those who wanted to learn. She was a true patriot and supporter of armed forces both domestic and abroad. Above all, she loved spending time with her children and family in many different ways, like going to the auction with her son James. She was a loving mother, caring grandmother, and loyal friend.
Dorinda is survived by her loving family: her four children James Byron (Angie) Morris Jr. of Junction City, KS, Melanie Dawne (Timothy) Horner of Clarksville, TN, Michael Allen Haskins, II of Delavan, KS, and Christine Elizabeth Haskins of Junction City, KS; five grandchildren, Malachi Horner, Kiara Horner, Tyannie Horner, Allison Mason, Trinity Haskins; her sister, Terry Belveal; her sister-in-law, Twila Snell; and a host of loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, Leith Horner, her two brothers, Justin and Daniel Snell, and her husband, Michael Allen Haskins, Sr..
