Dorene Eva Miller, 70, of Junction City, KS, passed away on December 9, 2018.
She was born on June 7, 1948, in Quinter, Kansas to Michael and Isabelle (Scheck) Stefan.
Dorene was raised in Wakeeney, KS and graduated from Trego County High School. Dorene met SSG William Miller. They were wed on July 4, 1970 in Wakeeney, KS. They settled and rasied their family in Junction City, KS.
She was an obedient daughter, loving sister, loyal wife, phenomenal mother, and devoted catholic. She believed that God was her guide and that gave her the strength to accomplish and handle all challenges that came her way. She was a hard worker and strove to be the best mother and supporter she could be. She taught her love of Christ to her family. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church of Junction City, Kansas.
She will be dearly missed.
Dorene is survived by her loving family: her two sons William Joseph Miller of Bridgman, MI and Robert Michael (and wife Danielle) Miller Sr. of Abilene, KS; two daughters, Carol Lynne Hazelton-Miller of Topeka, KS; Anita Marie Miller of Junction City, KS; four sisters, Delores Herskowitz of Wakeeney, KS; Dorothy Geschwentner (Joe)of Quinter, KS; Delinda Collman (Dale) of Hutchinson, KS; Donna Stefan of Wakeeney, KS; three brothers, Dalbert Stefan (Mary) of Cimarron,KS; Darrell Stefan of Wakeeney, KS; Duane Stefan (Linda) of Hays, KS; five grandchildren, Robert Michael Miller Jr of Abilene, KS; Kiarra Hazelton of Topeka, KS; Chelsea Delatore of New York; Jamere Hazelton of New Jersey; Shaniqua Hazelton of Florida and a host of loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother; Donald Stefan, two sisters; Darlene Tidball and Diana Coffman and son in law; Bruce Hazelton.
A Visitation will be held Monday, December 17, 2018, from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street, Junction City, KS. Rosary will be conducted during visitation at 7:30 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at St. Xavier's Catholic Church, 218 N.Washington Street, Junction City, KS, with Father Kyle Berens officiating with burial at Fort Riley Cemetery, Ft. Riley, KS.
Memorials can be made to the St. Xavier Catholic Church.
