Donna Lee Rea

Donna Lee Rea (Carson) passed away on March 26, 2024, in Milford, KS, at the age of 52. She was born on September 1, 1971, in Homestead, FL. Donna was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband, John Rea of Herington, KS; brother, Eugene (Bonita) Ray of Wayne, OK; daughters: Jessica Mollenkamp (husband Shelby Mollenkamp) and their children Andre, Ava, and Remington of Junction City, KS; Patricia Purcell and her children Aidan, Benjamin, Gracey, and Rylann of Junction City, KS; Kathleen McGee (husband Jonathan McGee) and their child Kia of Harvest, AL; Kansas Kopietz (husband Matthew Kopietz) and their children Olivia and Trinity of Milford, KS; son, Keith Rea (wife Cierra Rea) and their children Shelby and Jackson of Milford, KS. Sister Juanita Rose Sandbeck of Homestead, Florida.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, John Carson and Ellen Elliott; sister, Johnleen (Jackie) Carson; brother, Jimmy Ray; Aunt Mary; and grandchild, Kayden Scott McGee.

Donna worshipped at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Herington, KS. She was known for her love for her family, animals, fishing, and music. She knew every Garth Brooks song by heart. She loved her kids in a unique way that was special to them individually. She was proud to be a grandma to so many grandchildren. She loved her dogs with a passion and bottle-fed many animals that weren't thriving or had been abandoned. She had a big heart, incomprehensible endurance and perseverance that she instilled and left behind with all of us, who miss her so deeply.

The Celebration of Life service will be held at the Junction City Church of the Nazarene on April 3rd, 2024, at 5:30 PM. JC Naz and Johnson Funeral Home in Junction City, KS, is assisting with the arrangements.

Donna will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
