Donna F. Olson

Graveside services for Donna F. Olson, 73, Chapman, KS will be 10 a.m., Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Welcome Cemetery, rural Junction City, KS with Rev. Kenton Van officiating. Mrs. Olson passed away August 25, 2008 at Park Villa in Clyde, KS. Visitation will be from 7-9pm Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rebuilding Fund for Chapman United Methodist Church and or Clay Center Kids Wrestling Club and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home before leaving for the cemetery.

Donna was born September 4, 1934 in Dwight, KS to Donald M. and Cora (Clark) Cross. She was a loan officer at Valley National Bank in Phoenix and Flagstaff, AZ and had also worked as a bookkeeper at The Printery before retiring. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chapman.

She was married to Garold "Ole" Olson June 14, 1953 at the First United Methodist Church in Junction City, KS. He survives. Other Survivors include a daughter, Cristy and husband Gene Pruser, Clifton, KS, brother Dennis and wife Barbara Cross, Denver CO, grandsons Austin and Tyson Pruser, and granddaughter Jordan Pruser all of Clifton, KS; nieces Lisa D. Nieslanik, Laura M. Quick, and Lydia B. Cross, nephew Douglas E. Cross.

Donna was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and one great grandson Evan Pruser.
