Donald Edward Rosenau, 61, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015, at his residence. A graveside service will full military honors will take place 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel in Junction City. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Disabled American Veterans' Junction City Chapter #16.
Don was born October 17, 1953, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Donald O. and Dorothy A. (Rogers) Rosenau.
Don served in the United States Army having retired in 1992 as an E-7. He later worked for Schneider Truck Lines as a truck driver. While working for Schneider, he worked as a truck driver instructor. Don enjoyed spending time with his family.
He married Lisa Huynh September 21, 1992, in Junction City, KS. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Billy Reed of Junction City, KS and Ronny Reed of Lawton, OK. He is also survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Kerry Rosenau and Brian Rosenau both of Wisconsin, two nephews, two nieces and one sister-in-law Patty Rosenau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and sister that were twins.
