Don L. Webb, 44, of Milford, passed away on Wed., Dec. 31, 2003 at the Mercy Health Center in Manhattan. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004 at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church of God with the burial at Fort Riley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m., Wed., Jan. 7, 2004 at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Memorial Contributions can be given to the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church of God, 614 W. 7th Street, Junction City, Kansas 66441.
He was born Dec. 5, 1959 in Tyler, TX the son of Roger and Sybil Kemp Webb. He grew up on a cattle ranch in Oregon and graduated from Crook County High School, where he was active in sports. He remained active in sports and the community his entire life. He enjoyed coaching and refereeing at all levels of competition.
After attending college, he joined the U.S. Army where he honorably served for twenty years before retiring. He served in the United States, Italy, Panama, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq and Macedonian. He served with distinction during Operation Desert Storm and was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge. While in Panama he met and married the love of his life, Clementina Rodriguez. Upon retirement from the military he worked for Geary County and Fort Riley.
He has lived in Milford for the past seven years and he was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church of God in Junction City.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Heather M. Webb of Milford and one son, Isaac L. Webb of Milford, one sister Susan of Portland, Oregon.
