Dolores "Pink" A. Anders, 83, of Junction City, KS, and resident of Brookdale in Abilene, KS passed away on March 15, 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at the Penwell-Gabel Junction City Chapel, Junction City, KS. Pastor Dirk Westerman will be officiating. Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery. The family will be receiving guests an hour before services. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association at 3625 SW 29th St #102, Topeka, KS 66614.
Dolores was born on April 4, 1932, in Barnes, KS, Daughter to John and Ellen (Klataska) Woodward.
Dolores was an avid reader and also enjoyed square dancing. She was always surrounded by family and loved the company of her grand-children and great-grandchildren.
She was married on July 31, 1950 to Robert "Andy" Anders in Elizabeth City, NC. They since resided in Junction City, KS.
Dolores is survived by her loving family; her Daughter, Gloria Ann and husband Steven Ruhnke of Depoe Bay, OR; Daughter-in-Law Betty Anders of Junction City, KS; Three Sisters, Barbara Edmonson of Junction City, KS, Jean and husband Richard "Ace" Adams of Waynesville, MO, Verla Thompson of San Antonio, TX; Four Grandchildren, Heather and husband Marv, Trevor and wife Chelsi, Kevin and wife Jess, Ryan and wife Tiffany; Eight Great-Grandchildren, Corrine, Sarah, Will, Kody, Dalton, Maddi, Lauren, Lucas; Two Great-Great-Grandsons, Hunter and Kaden; and one Great-Great-Granddaughter, Lyla.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Son, Don Anders; Sister, Rebecca Gasswint; Sister, Narcissas (Babe) Rohem; and her parents John and Ellen Woodward.
