Funeral services for Diane G. Cooper, 65, Junction City will be 11:00am Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel with Pastor Bob Strom officiating. Mrs. Cooper passed away at the Indian Meadows Nursing Home October 9, 2008 in Overland Park, KS. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 9:00am Saturday until service time at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline. Diane was born November 21, 1942 in Honolulu, Hawaii to William and Dorothy (Comer) Berele. She resided in Hawaii where she was educated. She married Frank Cooper August 12, 1967 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. She and her husband moved to Baltimore Maryland in 1969 and to Junction City in 1972, where she was a homemaker.

Diane was preceded in death by a sister Rita Langston

She is survived by her husband Frank of the home; daughters Raynette Saxton of Jacksonville, FL, Dorothy Krugle and Rosalie Gibson of Junction City, and Diana Pittman of Parkerville, KS; son Frank, Jr. Cooper,. of Topeka, KS and twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
