Dennis Laurence Riffel

Dennis Laurence Riffel, 81, of Clay Center, Kansas died in the early morning hours on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Presbyterian Manor in Clay Center, Kansas.

In accordance to family wishes, cremation will take place. No memorial service is planned at this time.

Dennis was born January 29, 1944, in Fort Bragg, California the county of Mendocino at Community Hospital the son of Laurence George and Norma Arlene (Boots) Riffel.

Dennis worked as a superintendent for the City of Wakefield, Kansas. Dennis was an amateur radio operator with his call sign WD0DQM. He worked as EMT in Clay County for some time.  He enjoyed rock collecting. He had great joy in following and supporting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dennis survived by four sons; Bruce Riffel, Gregory Goulden, Steven Riffel and Jeffery Riffel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings, Francine Parliment, Barbara Logan, Joyce Arlene and John Riffel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Kathryn; one son, Bradley Riffel and one daughter Sonya Kunesh.
