Dennis Hassler

Dennis (Denny) D. Hassler, 64, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2011, at Valley View Senior Center in Junction City, Kansas.

He was born on a farm near Enterprise, Kansas, on July 30, 1947, the son of Maynard and Roberta (Minert) Hassler.

Dennis was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing earlier in life, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Eva (Glessner) Hassler of Junction City, KS., one son, Mike Hassler and wife Jennifer of Pratt, KS, one daughter, Cindy West and husband Roger of Manhattan, KS., two brothers, Skip Hassler and wife Betty of Easton, MO., and Larry Hassler and wife Martie of Columbus, Ohio.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been completed and a Celebration of Dennis's life will be conducted by his family at a later date.
