Denise Joy Sadler, 49, of Manhattan, KS, passed away on May 13, 2017 at K.U. Medical Center, Kansas City, KS. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, of Junction City, is assisting the family with cremation arrangements. No services are planned.
Denise was born on September 15, 1967, in Holland, Michigan to David and Betty (Aalderink) Lindsay. On December 31, 1985, she married Barney Sadler in Savannah, Georgia. Barney's military career provided many places of residency, to include stops in Georgia, Germany, California, North Dakota, New Jersey and finally in Kansas. Barney and Denise retired in 2013 and made their permanent home in Manhattan, Kansas.
Denise was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, reading her bible and being with her three children and pets.
Denise is survived by her loving Husband, Barney; her Two Daughters, Janel L. (Dusty) Milleson of Junction City, KS, Jennifer L. Sadler of Manhattan, KS; Son, Matthew A. Sadler of Manhattan, KS; Mother, Betty Rescorla of Clarksville, TN; and One Brother, David J. (Kip) Lindsay of Clarksville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her Father, David E. Lindsay, and Sister Debra J. Holderman, along with both her maternal and paternal Grandparents.
