Denise Guyton

Denise Elaine Guyton, 46, of Junction City, entered into eternal peace on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11:12 am, at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS after a courageous battle with ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome).
Denise was born in Carrabelle, Florida on December 5, 1966, to Parents Mary Lozotte and Buddy Guyton.
Prior to becoming ill, she did construction work locally for many years. Denise loved fishing, gardening, and going shopping. She also enjoyed spending time with her two beloved dogs, whom she brought with her everywhere she went.
Her parents precede her in death.
Denise leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving fiancé and companion, Harry Beneux of Junction City, KS. She also leaves behind three children, Donald Cooley of Carrabelle, FL, and Virginia Beneux and Rosie Christiano of Junction City, KS; two grandchildren, Nathan and Nathania Christiano; a son-in-law, Nicholas Christiano; three brothers, Alton Norton of las Vegas, NV, David Norton of Carrabelle, FL, and Jerry Norton of Ogden, KS; and four sisters, Helen Norton of Atlanta, GA, Pat Lozotte of Lancaster, PA, Rose Lozotte of Atlanta, GA, and Violet Lozotte of Hawaii. She also leaves behind countless other nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends and loved ones to make a donation in memory of Denise to Friends of Animals at PO Box 580, Junction City, KS 66441, in order to pay tribute to her love of animals.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel on 805 Caroline Ave in Junction City.
A funeral service will be held to celebrate Denise's life at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Following the service, Denise will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Geary County. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel.
