Delores Taylor
Delores J. Taylor, 81, of Junction City passed away on Sat., Jan. 17, 2004 at the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 23, 11:00 a.m. at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, 5th & Adams, Junction City. Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel is handling the services.
Delores was born Aug 4, 1922, Kansas City, MO to Arnie and Maud (Oakes) Noland, she was an only child. She was a resident of Junction City for over 40 years, a licensed beautician and a homemaker. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ.
Delores founded the "Warrior of Faith Prayer Band". She was a friendly, outgoing, spiritual individual.
She is survived by one son Minister Rodney Franklin of Junction City, two daughters; La Tonya Adams of Fort Riley and Virginia Lawrence of Junction City, two sisters; Maxine Younger of Tulsa, OK and Martha J. Tolbert of Kansas City, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
