Memorial Services for Delores E. (Ball) Haslett, 69, of Topeka, KS will be held at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Monday, May 12, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Dale Greer of the Town and Country Church, Topeka, Kansas will officiate. Delores died May 7, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital. Cremation was held, Inurnment will be at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, c/o Memorial & Honor Program, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. Delores was born September 4, 1933, Abilene, Kansas to Arthur R. and Elga M. (Towne) Ball. Delores received her LPN at Kaw Area Vocational Technical School in 1985. She also received a Bachelor's Degree in General Science from Kansas State University. Delores was married to Bill Haslett for 25 yrs; he survives in Junction City,KS. Delores was an LPN at the Topeka VA for 13 years, and worked at Eventide Convalescent Center and Brewsters for 18 years in Topeka. Delores was a member of the First Christian Church of Junction City, and the Town and Country Church in Topeka. She was also a member of Parents without Partners, KSU Alumni Association, and the Senior Saints at the Town and Country Christian Church.
Survivors: One Son: Daniel Haslett of Renton, WA; Three Daughters: Charlene Russell of Topeka,KS, Kathy Kern of Seattle, WA, and Patricia Bedwell of Topeka, KS; One Brother: Kenneth Ball of Topeka, KS; Nine Grandchildren; and One Great-Grandchild.
