Delores (Dee) Daymude, 85, formerly of Junction City, KS passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at Copperas Cove, TX.
Delores (Dee) Daymude was born January 2, 1936, in Sparksville, Kentucky. She spent her life in the care of others. Married at 18 to Frank Daymude, they were blessed with 3 living children. She was immensely proud of her sons, Mickael, Timothy, and Gregory Daymude. Dee was well loved, spending her working years in restaurant service, both at The Circle Restaurant and Denny's in Junction City. As well as her family and friends, the Nazarene church held a special place in her life. Dee will be remembered fondly for her wit, her strength, and her sense of humor.
Dee is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Daymude; brothers, Leo, James, and Larry.
Dee is survived by her sons, Mickael, Timothy, and Gregory; her sister, Carol Lombard; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at the Junction City Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Linda Smith will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Johnson, Cremation Funerals and Receptions. Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
