Delmer V. Schwartz 86, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2003 at the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City. Services will be held at Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.
Pastor G. Edmond Thomas and Pastor Stewart Smith will officiate. Burial will be at the Milford Cemetery in Milford, Kansas.

KS 66514.
Delmer was born January 2, 1917 at Pretty Prairie, Kansas, the son of Jacob C. and Anna Schwartz. Delmer married Frieda H. Boese, July 17, 1938 at Lamar, CO; she survives of the home.
Delmer has spent his life in Colorado and Kansas. He was a farmer, grain elevator operator, and employed by the City of Wiley, CO. He retired in
1979 from Valley Concrete and Paving in Lamar, CO. Delmer and his wife moved to Milford in 1990, where he enjoyed to fish and volunteered his woodworking skills to the community until moving to Junction City in 2001. Over the years, he has been involved in many activities such as breaking and training horses to trap shooting.
He was a charter member of the Wiley Lions Club, past member of the
Milford Lions Club, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Junction City.
Survivors include his Wife; One Son: Ronald K. Schwartz of Garden City, KS; One Daughter: Verna L. McKim of Milford, KS; One Sister-In-Law: Mary Schwartz of Lamar, CO; Eight Grandchildren; Eight Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Four Brothers: Phillip, Albert, Cleo, and an infant; and Three Sisters: Sarah Stucky, Lena Stucky, and Ida Schroeder.
Casket bearers will be his Grandchildren and Nephews
Organist will be Florence Whitebread
