Delane I. Wolf, 78, of Junction City, KS passed away April 11, 2013 at The Good Shepherd Hospice House, Manhattan, KS. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 630 S. Eisenhower Dr., with Pastor Alan Estby officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions have been designated to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 630 S. Eisenhower Dr., Junction City, KS 66441 and/or The Good Shepherd Hospice House, 3801 Vanesta Drive, Manhattan, KS 66503.
Delane was born June 20, 1934, Geary County, KS to Hugo and Caroline (Settgast) Dietrich. She was a graduate of Junction City High School class of 1952. Delane worked as a Head Bookkeeper for First National Bank for many years until 1981. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Jaycees Jane organization and the Kansas State Twins Association.
She loved to play bridge, collect antiques, camping and enjoyed deer hunting with Don, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. Delane was awarded the "Best Baked Bean Baking Babe" by John York and her camping friends.
She married Donald "Don" Wolf April 16, 1955 he survives of the home.
Delane is also survived by her son, David A. Wolf (Cyndi) of Columbia, MO and her daughter DeAnn M. Waldron (Steve) of Manhattan, KS, sister Marian Johnson (Russell) and her identical twin sister Marlene Kelley both of Junction City, KS and her three grandchildren, DeAuna Wolf of Columbia, MO and Nathan and Andrea "Andie" Waldron of Manhattan, KS, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Kevin D. Wolf, her sister Alberta Sarge , brother-in-laws Charles Sarge and Robert Kelley, Sr.
