Deborah A. Johnson, 59, of Junction City, KS, formerly of Birmingham, AL, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Geary Community Hospital. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Johnson Funeral Home.
Deborah was born March 14, 1962, in Birmingham, AL the daughter of Lifond and Virginia Ruth (McBride) Johnson.
Deborah was married to Curtis Coates.
Deborah enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed Alabama Football and watching television, cooking and making sure everyone was fed and never left hungry. She also enjoyed listening to music.
Survivors include her husband Curtis of the home in Junction City, KS; one son, Curtis Coates, JR; two daughters, Stephfanie Coates and her husband Russell McIntosh, III of Junction City, KS and Mitzi Dunlap and her husband Bruce of Rockford, IL; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
