Debbie Y. Nash, 61, of Junction City, KS died June 21, 2017 at Good Shepherd Hospice House, Manhattan, KS. Home Going Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the New Church of the Living God with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Cremation will follow the services and inurnment with military honors will be at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions have been designated to the Good Shepherd Hospice House in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington Street, Junction City, KS 66441.
Debbie was born April 30, 1956, Plant City, FL to Willie Collier and Eunice (Williams). She joined the United States Army November 21, 1978 and honorably discharged July 14, 1992 as a Staff Sergeant. Following her time in the Military she worked at Footlocker and then at the Dining Facilities at Fort Riley, KS. Debbie loved football especially the Kansas City Chiefs and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by many.
Debbie married Dale R. Nash September 7, 1984 he survives of the home.
She is also survived by her daughter, Dominique Nash and her Grandson, Shaan Nash Hyman both of Junction City; her brother Keith (Angel) Collier of Lakeland, FL, her nieces, Angela Allen of Junction City, KS, Janet Collier of Plant City, FL and her nephew, Keith Collier, Jr. also of Plant City, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
