David Emile Helterbrand, 44, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his home in Junction City. Cremation will take place. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Johnson Funeral Home.
David was born August 31, 1977, in Junction City, KS the son of George Owen and Deborah Mae (Starr) Helterbrand.
David graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1997. David worked for Securitas Security Company. He was working as a security manager at Smithfield Foods in Junction City. David enjoyed fishing, guns and was a military historian. He also enjoyed working on cars. He was a mason and a member of the NRA.
Survivors include his mother, Deborah Mae Helterbrand of Junction City, KS; one sister, Judith Mann of Junction City, KS and one brother Eric Scott Duntz of Junction City, KS; a host of cousins and other relatives in the states of Oklahoma, Colorado and Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father George Owen Helterbrand.
