Funeral services for David Howard Dunn Calloway, 55, of Junction City will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington St., with John Paul Sibbitt officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will take place from 9 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, California 90266.
David was born June 6, 1955 in Huntsville, AL. to John & Mattie Ann (McCuthcheon) Calloway.
David was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and camping at Milford lake. He also enjoyed hunting and horse back riding. He was a proud owner of an Arabian named Aladdin.
He is survived by three children; John Paul Sibbitt, Lauren Wood and her husband Darrik of Fort Front-Royal, VA and Angelica Clarkson and her husband Matt of Dallas, TX,his mother Mattie Ann Calloway, sister, Mary E. Lewis, two brothers; Mark Mingeldorff and Jerry Dunn, two aunts; Helen Webster and Flora Eubanks and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his father, John E. Calloway.
