Danny L. Hartung, 72, of Junction City passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Geary Community Hospital. Private graveside services will be held at a later date, no visitation is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, KS 66604. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
Mr. Hartung was born May 24, 1938 in Junction City to Harry & Anne (Allen) Hartung. He married Patricia A. Kane July 23, 1967. He worked for Mobil Traveler for many years.
He is survived by his wife Patricia of the home, two sons, Gary Hartung and Douglas Hartung and wife Tara all of Manhattan, KS, one sister Virginia Waters of Junction City, KS, two grandchildren, Sacha Hartung and Jacob Hartung.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harry Hartung & Leonard Hartung and two sisters, Leona Collins and Marietta Tully.
